There’s far more to teenage fiction than vampires! We have years of experience of finding books for teenagers that will keep them reading in the face of distractions such as Facebook and YouTube and this package means that each month they’ll have a new title to lose themself in. Books to entertain, challenge and inspire.

When you order this subscription option, each month we’ll carefully choose a suitable book taking into account the information you’ve given us about the reader’s tastes.  It will be sent out, beautifully wrapped.  With the first book we enclose a slip asking for feedback so that we can glean more about the recipient’s tastes which will help us customise our future choices.  Obviously, props shown in the photographs are not included and although the packaging shown is indicative, it may vary.

  • Confident Readers

Confident readers are those who are reading chapter books without too much assistance although many still enjoy being read to as well.  We choose books carefully so that an 8 year old just taking their first solo steps isn’t over-faced and that a 12 year old isn’t bored. It’s a fine balance but years of children’s bookselling mean that we have plenty of experience of finding the right book for the right reader.

  • Contemporary Fiction (paperback)

For years, we’ve read voraciously, assessing new fiction titles to see if they would work in our bookshop and now for Glenogle & Bell. That experience means that our contemporary fiction package is perfect for the bookworm in your life. We’ll send them highly anticipated debut novels, eagerly awaited new titles from award-winning writers and overlooked gems that we think deserve a wider readership. By sending a postcard asking for feedback with the first book we’ll be able to tailor our choices more closely to the reader’s tastes.

We offer this as a paperback or hardback option.
